It’s not quite finished, but…
…Fully Charged Live is a big event, the first of its kind in Australia, and many exceptional classic EVs will be on show, so why not send the VW Tesla Kombi down to Sydney to show it off? Despite a few things that couldn’t be fixed/finished in time, it is in a good driving state with the new Tesla motor and new motor controller. I would have loved to drive it from Brisbane to Sydney and back, but we just didn’t have enough time to complete everything with enough confidence for that sort of road trip. Next time for the road trip, this time its going down on a truck and will be on display at the Traction EV stand in the “Electric and Eclectic” area.
